Time of past OR future Camino
Chemin Podiensis start planned for September 2022.
I'll have an opportunity to do some / all of the Camino Finisterre in end March / beginning April '24. Any information ref list of albergues and if they would be open in March appreciated. Thanks.

Be warned...Easter is April 1 in 2024, so Semana Santa will be the week before. Those accommodations that are open may be more crowded than usual.

Thank you dbier, I'll bear that in mind. I plan to use albergues where possible and comfortable. Otherwise no problem if I need to use pensions or small hotels.

You may discover that finding a bed in a Pension or Hotel is more of a challenge. As well as the surge of International and Spanish pilgrims during Holy Week it is also a time when families who work in the larger cities - Bilbao, Santander, Madrid and the rest travel home to visit mum & dad and all the relations. Probably worth looking at what is reservable where Albergue capacity is limited. Gronze, cited above, will provide the necessary information.

That's super Tincatinker, thank you! I'm lucky to have all March '24 at my disposal, and live a few hours coach ride from Santiago, so my main goal is to move quickly if a week or so's good weather crops up in that window. But good to know about Holy Week, thanks again

I thought I had saved this, but can’t find it. Where is a place to stay in Muxia to relax and reflect on the Camino journey?
