Where can you pick up a credencial along Camino Mozarabe?

None yet, Camino Norte in May 2017 (hopefully!)
Not totally sure if VdlP is the right place for this but Mozarabe feeds into it so here we are.

I had a credencial ordered to be available for me at my hotel upon arriving in Almeria because I travel a lot so getting mail directly to me is problematic. Long story short it didn't make it to the hotel and the Almeria tourist office has run out.

I thought this was fine since I know there's an ecclesiastical office just near the Almeria cathedral, but apparently that only opens after 6pm on Thursdays only, and I'd intended to start today, Tuesday. I'm here until Friday now, and while losing 3 days of walking is frustrating I'm more worried there'll be no credentials at the ecclesiastical office either, the tourist bureau woman was not too sure.

So are there any other places in Almeria or on the way to Granada one could pick up a credencial if things go south for me on Thursday? I think that Santa Fe de Mondujar might have them, based on the tourist office woman's assurances and luckily that's not too far along the way from Almeria, one or two days at most, but my Spanish is not great so I couldn't handle a phonecall to them today, leaving me a bit unsure of where to go from here.

A selection of Camino Jewellery
Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

If all comes to all, you should be able to survive without one, although I myself would try anything to get one.

Incidentally I might be driving past Almeria on Friday (3 days from now) afternoon/evening, if you still stuck for some reason, I will happily stop by in Almeria and drop you one (I always have a couple of credentials at home, either for me, or for people who may ask for one).

Other than that, bring plenty of suncream, we are having a HOT May, as in HOT!!! Pity I will not be here by the time you make it to Granada, my home area, otherwise I would be more than happy to meet you for a beer or two, but next week I am hoping to be in Baztan, way up North.

Buen camino!

Thabks for the offer, I appreciate it, but luckily thanks to Anemone's advice I was able to pick one up from the Jacobians directly. So I'll be on the path tomorrow!

I've been hitting the sunscreen pretty solidly because yeah it's been warm, so it's a shame we can't share a beer but that's all good, I'm sure it'll be great anyway!

buen camino @Vagrant , I hope everything is sorted now and you just let yourself go with the flow on the loooong hoooooot way to Santiago, I will be back home in Granada by June 11th if you need anything.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Usually reliable Rome2Rio website doesn't show a bus route which runs close to the Oseira monastery, but Google maps shows a bus icon there. Does anyone know whether there is or is not bus service...
In case it’s helpful for those who are looking to start their Sanabres walk from Granja de Moruela: Last week, when I reached Granja de Moruela while walking the via de la plata, I continued...
