I'm currently confused and alarmed by what the Renfe website is showing me. When planning the Ourense-Santiago stage of the VdlP/Sanabrés, I was looking at a random Saturday to see how many trains would run from Santiago to Ourense, and it looked like there was one roughly every 30 minutes.

Now I'm checking the actual day of arrival, April 27th, and... the website shows 3 trains. 6am, 10am, 3pm. We arrive after that last train leaves. Are we screwed? Is the site not yet fully populated with train connections? What other options do we have if there's actually only 3 trains between two tourist hotspots on a Saturday? Help please!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Get a good nights sleep in Santiago, rise early, one hour on the train, get coffee, start walking. It’s beautiful stop stressing you could be effecting your health.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I would, except our accommodation is already booked in Ourense. Less stressed than baffled at the moment.

It may be that not all of Aprils train times are yet published.
Perhaps. Looking at RENFE, I see no evening trains from Santiago to Ourense from march 4th onwards.
(Until March 3rd, there's an 8.30pm daily departure - even Sundays)
If the train and bus don't work, try blablacar

Something I came across earlier today which sounded interesting. The Ourense local council and a public service organisation are running a project where local people can walk from Ourense to...
Usually reliable Rome2Rio website doesn't show a bus route which runs close to the Oseira monastery, but Google maps shows a bus icon there. Does anyone know whether there is or is not bus service...
In case it’s helpful for those who are looking to start their Sanabres walk from Granja de Moruela: Last week, when I reached Granja de Moruela while walking the via de la plata, I continued...
