Hello, I don't see any maps from Santiago to Muxia, I see mostly from Santiago to Finisterre.

Is there a detail map to go from Santiago to Muxia, then Finisterre from Muxia.

thanks very much.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Travel Diva, Brierleys guide will show the Camino to Hospital, day three, where the route splits, to the left Finisterra, to the right Muxia. The way is well marked to Finisterra so I would expect the path to muxia would be well marked as well.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
When you are in Santiago you can obtain free of charge the map route with description from the Galicia tourist board on Rua Villar near pilgrim office

In addition to the map noted by Krazeekuban in Santiago the Galicia Tourist Office at 130 rua do Vilar near the cathedral has a good free list of ALL services on the caminos to Finisterre and Muxia. This includes food shops, pilgrim albergues, tourist lodgings, restaurants, bars, banks, buses, etc. Their multilingual staff is also most helpful.

Last year I walked from Santiago to Muxia and back to Finisterre . The way marking were very good going to Muxia , I had no problem. Going from Muxia back to Finisterre was a little more confusing. The route has both sets off markings, one going to Muxia from Finisterre and another set going from Muxia to Finisterre .. There were also some marking for some alternated detours if one wished to visit other sights along the way and some markings for cyclists.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Thanks Falcon so if the friends go from Fisterra to Muxia and unto Santiago that qualifies do they still require two stamps at each stop over on thier credential passport

Yes. Two a day in the last 100km for all the caminos.
Sorry to be a pest do you have any recommendations for Hotels on this part of the camino. They are going for a week in September taking 2days in Santiago on arrival (1day) and on return from walk(1day) the other four nights are going to be booked into hotels age of friends male age 60 and two daughters in there 30 ishs any suggestions would be great or if you have any experience on this part of the walk. They intend to walk it in trainers and transport luggage on a daily basis via hotel to hotel so they wont be loaded with weight.

On the way to Nageira the restaurante Ponte Maceira by the famous bridge has a delicious and affordable menu de dia plus a wonderful view of the falls.

In Olveiroa the Pension As Pias is a successful renovation of stone buildings. Located near the municipal albergue where I always stop the pension has VERY good food and most pleasant dining rooms including one snug space with a wide hearth. All was wonderfully cozy late last December.

Buen Camino,
