The Holy Year (2 years worth because of the pandemic extension) is coming to an end soon.

The light in La Torre del Reloj will be put out. It has been lit day and night since the opening of the Año Santo.

It is visible from many places in Santiago. Here is one of my favorites, at dusk taken on the roof tour of the Cathedral from La Torre de la Carraca. Note the Pico Sacro in the background.

What are your favorite photos of it?

Hmmm… it’s not sideways in my album, so you’ll have to flip the image on opening I guess, but I loved the brilliance aagainst the midnight blue as we returned to the Martin Pinario from supper down off the Rua Noa.

Except for the lucky few in Galicia right now, time to start looking forward to 2027.

Still, there is the Roman Jubilee year in 2025 !!
