Time of past OR future Camino
June-July (2013)
Hello,

I've been on this forum in various stages of my Camino planning and am now making my final arrangement (I think) before leaving for Madrid in 9 days. This forum has been an unbelievable resource! So my next question is about a hotel in Leon (our starting point as well as recovery from many hours of traveling before starting our Camino). I've had several recommendations and I have checked them out, but then stumbled upon this one: Hostal Alda Casco Antiguo. They have excellent ratings and seem to be right next to the Cathedral. Anyone have any experience with this place? Thanks in advance!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

I am here right now- a definite gem. great location near cathedral, clean, small, cross between hostel and pension. my friend is in a 4 bed room w a bath for 12 euros. I am splurging for a single room w bath for rest day for 30 euros. stayed at Benedictine monastery alberque and it was so noisy I didn't get any sleep at all

Is there a list of albergues that also have private rooms on the Camino Frances? Gracias.
Hi everyone -- After walking the Frances from SJpdP last October, I'm planning to revisit the bit between Logrono and Burgos this July, following different stages. It's the section where I had...
