Hi guys. I'm flying out of Sydney on Monday 7th March.
I'm flying into Munich to catch up with 2 peregrinos I met during 2017. Then I will head to SJPP by train, probably via Paris. I'm planning to walk to Finisterra & Muxia, this time in Spring rather than Autumn. I will possibly start walking around 24 March. Hopefully not to crowded by the last 100km into Santiago.
I am booked to fly home from Madrid on 26 May. Plenty of time.
I was due to fly out 1st April, 2020, but....
. However, I've just had longer to look forward to it.
I'm flying with Qatar via Doha. My total flight fare (into Munich, out of Madrid, is $1500, including full insurance)
I think the COVID risk seems to be about the same as going into Coles or the pharmacy here.
I'm trying to be cautious but not paranoid, & most of the Camino is out in the beautiful fresh countryside.
My opinion? Go for it!!
