Wife & I arrived home safe & sound from Logrono yesterday afternoon. We are seriously missing the Camino already. I was really surprised just how much people from across the world interacted in the nicest possible way with each other....that just doesn't happen on the Costa's! We met some lovely people, Aidan, German Mick, Jerry, Mícheál (Thanks for the Beer in Los Arcos mate!) Chris the Wolves fan, Chris & Caroline from Brighton, the 4 hard core Aussie birds carrying the massive back packs, the very gentle retired English teacher from Korea, Edith & Sharon, the laughing Dutch girl from Tilburg, Riegert & Alinda from South Africa, Michael & Vicky from Lincolnshire (I hope your knee holds up Mike) Salvador (the Zubiri eating machine !;) ) The Canadian lady from Manitoba...the Eindhoven Pilgrims with their back up handing out cold drinks & biscuit just when we needed it....And the lovely Pat...he always had a smile on his face even though he was suffering with his feet for the first couple of days...you guys and everyone I haven't mentioned really made our Camino special .....we will be back !!!
Buen Camino
Mike (The Arsenal supporting Canadian Cockney!) & Diane. :)
