Bilbao to Leon train Sunday 28th Oct 2018

Tried to book train online but difficult, keeps asking for valid telephone number, which I have given several times. Has anyone used this service Bilbao to Leon before.

you get the ticket on your phone, by email if I understand the proecedure well.

Renfe website lets me enter and accepts a UK mobile number without problems for your chosen date and journey. I set the prefix to +44 in the first field and entered ten digits (without spaces!) in the second field; without a leading zero obviously. There are actually two places where you have to enter your mobile phone number, first under personal data and second under mode of payment. I used the Renfe website with language set to Spanish. Bon suerte!

Thanks for yours and everyone's help I did just that , using irish prefix and mobile number it kept saying invalid number, but all is not lost.
Managed to book through "spain rail" it accepts my Irish prefix and number so all well. Used paypal safer !
