Planning to spend an extra day in Burgos - any tips / recommendations on where to stay? Any nice private albergues?

A selection of Camino Jewellery
We walked long days and ended up having two days off in Burgos, it was very busy and we ended up having to stay in a small hotel, don't seem to remember a wide range of accommodation in the city, just a heads up!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi, 2Santos!

Just this past April, my walking buddy and I needed a 'time out" from albergues to shake illness.

We stayed at the Hotel Jacobeo - Google map link here:

I seem to remember that we paid 45 euro per night for a double. We thought it was a value buy and were happy with everything. (Of course, that is supposed to happen to one on the Camino, no? :))

Buen Camino!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
AC Hotel, very close to the Cathedral and under €60.

Thank you for the advice! Arrived today and ended up in a nice hotel , too tired too look/walk around ;)
