Hello!

Can anyone provide any information on where the bus stop is from Biarritz airport to Bayonne?

I have purchased my train ticket Bayonne-SJPP, and I’d appreciate any pointers on navigating the bus and train journeys from the airport.

I’m not a city person to say the least.

Many thanks!

The Airport is small. If you step out towards the parking lots, turn left, walk 100m to the roundabout, then you'll see the busstops. I got off the bus near the tourist office (Place des Basques) and walked the few meters across the bridge to the trainstation.

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but you can walk from the airport to the train station in less than two hours. If you've got time to spare, it might be nice to stretch the legs. It's also a short taxi ride for a bit more euros.

You can get the TxikTxak bus number 3 or 4 directly from the airport bus station. After you leave the luggage collection area, turn left and walk to the far end of the airport building. Leave via the sliding doors and there is a covered walkway to the bus station.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Follow the other dozen pilgrims who are also headed to the bus stop! 😂. It’s literally out the front door and to your left. Ask anyone out there and they will help you. It’s a very small airport! HOWEVER, walking from the airport into Bayonne is a task I highly endorse! It gives you a chance to stretch your legs, adapt to the time of day, and you can even sneak a quick tinto enroute….

This is an option.

Walk out the airport doors, find three others who are headed to SJPP (they all have backpacks), and share a taxi to SJPP. The cost of the refunded train ticket will likely cover a share of the taxi and yoiu will be in SJPP in an hour.

I have done it and made three new friends immediately.

Thanks so much. I’ll see how I go on the day. This is all super helpful 😀
