I am Pekka from Finland and planning with my wife to walk Camino Norte from Hendaya to Santiago starting about 10 or 15 of abril 2008. I am very pleased any infomation about this way. How is the weather in that time, is it raining much? About albergues, are they open already in abril and may and to I have to phone to
spend a night in? Is the way easier or harder than Camino Frances (our age is 50) and is there more asphalt walking and if do we have to walk with busy roads?

Hi, Pekka.

Be ready for wet weather, this is normal in spring in the north coast of Spain.

About albergues, less than in CF. Sometimes it's possible you arrive to the albergue and find a paper with a telephone to call for the keys. And sometimes may be you have to take a hostal.

About the way, it's a bit harder than Camino Francés but don't worry for your age, is perfect to walk!!
