yes...
I'm a Devon girl but sadly I've not been home to Devon for a few years, having lived in SW France for the last 14.

A friend posted this link on facebook... the familiarity of the landscape brought a lump to my throat and made me feel homesick for the first time in years. I never knew these pilgrim routes existed... https://devonpilgrim.org.uk/

Love;y site - I had not seen it before!
If you do return to Devon we have a local pilgrims meet up - on this forum thread - Camigos in S Devon 2020-2021, and another group organises walks and events in the SW - pm me for details.
The 'Archangel's Route follows much of the Mary Michael Pilgrims Way (https://marymichaelpilgrimsway.org/) and (cycle route at https://cyclepilgrimageroutes.wordpress.com/) wonderful walking and cycling across our sacred land!!
But I expect you find SW France just as beautiful and full of sacred sites!!

Thank you for this share, I live in Exeter and I meet up with a friend regularly who is a Camino addict and we talk about waymarking or creating a historical based route from Exeter Cathedral to Plymouth ports, this might push us that bit further.
A great idea @Isca-camigo . @TerryB walked from Exeter to Plymouth back in 2009. Exeter Cathedral, Exe Bridges, Alphington, Shillingford St George, over Haldon to Chudleigh, Liverton, Ashburton, Buckfast Abbey (ancient pilgrim stop and still has a guest house), Ivybridge, Plympton, Plymouth. There is a giant shell on the side of the wall at the Barbican with a plaque saying it was one of the licenced ports pilgrims were able to sail from.
Overnight accommodation needs working out but the walk itself is good, a mix of roads and tracks.

We had hoped to spend a few weeks in Devon this summer but COVID had other plans...we certainly hope to get back in the near future... so let’s hope our dates correspond... thank you 😊
