I am sorry for my wrong information.Alcampo Ferrol is open today 10 to 22 h.
For good views, but not easy access, San Felipe castle and ermita de Chamorro.
Just to clarify - are you arriving in Ferrol on Sunday then leaving Monday for Neda? If so, I would buy anything you need on Saturday but the route from Ferrol to Neda is flat and easy. I'm guessing at the most all you need is 1 or 2 liters of water and some trail mix or light snack. I would suggest always having water with you and some snack each day along the route because unless you're in one of the larger towns there seems to be a lack of stores along the Camino itself. The hotel I was staying at gave me water when I left for the Camino. We arrive at 11am on a Sunday are any shops open for us to buy food? Any recommendations for lunch or places to see on day one of our start on the Camino ingles?
The Parador restaurant in Ferrol is open to non-guests. From the restaurant you get a good view into the harbor and the naval ships. I believe you can also get a voucher from the Parador web site to get a discount on meals. I found Ferrol to be dead on Sunday evening, apart from one or two bars.We arrive at 11am on a Sunday are any shops open for us to buy food?
