We are flying United into Madrid (Terminal 1) and need to catch a connecting flight (Iberia) from Terminal 4. How difficult will this be? Do we need to go through Customs and then go again through Security again to catch the domestic flight? We have about 3.5 hours between flights. Thanks!

The process has always been pretty easy for me, and I have been through the Madrid airport (Barajas) on six Caminos. The bus from Terminal 1 to Terminal 4 has always been timely and efficient. One heads-up when you get to Terminal 4….flights are usually not posted with departure gates until about an hour before boarding, so if you don’t see your flight, just relax and give it time. By the way the Pamplona airport is small and very nice. There will be ample taxis available as well. Buen Camino.
