Hi Tonya, how's your planning going? I'm SC as well planning for spring 2022
Most of my planning is complete; finalizing a few last items. Going in with a flexible body and mind. How is your panning progressing?

Where are you in SC? I'm a long-time Beaufort resident, and will be going again for another segment as soon as I feel some confidence in a whole bunch of things.
I am not far from you. Good wishes for your future Caminos.

Just getting started, I have a touch of arthritis (I think) in one foot so, I'm seeing how much my feet can take day in/day out. Decided on the route (French) and approximate time of year (spring). I'm going to hike the foothills trail in Sept. to see if I can do a week of 10+ miles a day and base my starting point on that (I can spend a month or so). I hike/walk regularly and work out every week day but we'll see. Once that's decided I think I'm going to reserve Alburgues within the limits I set so I don't have that stress, and then take it as it comes. Going with my best friends son, he just graduated U of SC. Really looking forward to it.
