Hi all! I have enjoyed some of the threads started with photos having a "theme".
I love seeing all the beautiful, quirky, and very old doors we pass by on many of the pilgrimage routes we walk. They often have so much character!
Here's a couple of my many photos to start...

I walked briefly last year with two Swedes, one of whom was by trade a painter. He could not understand how anyone could leave so many doors without a coat of paint. He could not share our love of the doors as they were.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I'll post them here counting on the fact that more people will see them here than in my old(er) thread.

These are from my Camino de Madrid in 2014...

This isn't necessarily my favourite. It's too much to ask to choose one. I'll have to post a few doors over the next little while. It is the first I came across as I dipped into my Camino photos. It is the Door of Forgiveness in Vilafranca del Bierzo. Pilgrims whose infirmity made it impossible to proceed all the way to Santiago de Compostela could walk through this door and receive the same blessings that they would have, had they completed their Camino, it was said.
