Is albergue in A Gudina....

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Kiwi-family,
I chose not to stay in the albergue in A Gudina because of the stories I'd read and heard about bed-bugs. My walking pals did stay there though and they said it was fine.
That was in late april/early may this year.

One of my friends went through there yesterday and to him it looked closed? But he stayed at a pension for 20 euros. He said one more albergue is there but a bit out of town.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Update: 15 June 2016 closed for fumigation but there is an alternative just across the road

When in A Gudiña, I strongly recommend the restaurant Oscar, on the edge of town on the way in on the left, just before the albergue. Heaving with workmen, truckers, AVE construction workers and locals. Simple, tasty, generous portions and very good value in a great atmosphere.

When I was there in May I talked to someone already in the albergue which they said smelt bad (damp I think). It's still a temporary place as the main AdP is still closed after debugging. Decided to avoid and the next three places were full! Luckily, we walked a bit more down the road and got a twin room with ensuite for 15 euros each in Hotel Suizo. Hotel Suizo was excellent as was the food and there was coffee at 0630! As you enter A Gudina just keep on the main road and keep walking. You will come to Hotel Suizo after about 1km on the left hand side. In the morning just head straight across the road and walk up the hill where it joins the camino.

I am looking to do my first Camino in mid August. I want to do a very quiet route so I chose from Ourense to Santiago. I have read that on the Camino Sanabres it can go over 35° but this seems to...
