a friend of mine is walking from Leon to Santiago. She is currently in Villafranca de Bierzo and is having problems with her legs. She wants to go to Sarria so she can walk shorter distances. Can anyone tell me what transportation she can get from Villafranca to Sarria tomorrow? Thank you!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
There are buses from Villafranca del Bierzo to Lugo four to six times a day. They stop in both Piedrafita do Cebreiro and Lugo. Lugo will be more convenient for catching a bus to Sarria.

The bus station in Villafranca is near the Parador hotel.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
ALSA bus from Villa Franca del Bierzo to Lugo.

Empresa Monforte (Monbus) bus from Lugo to Sarria.

Thanks everyone! I knew someone would know the answer. I looked up the bus schedules for ALSA and Monbus and found a good connection. My friend is all set for tomorrow. Thanks Falcon for providing the location of the bus station.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
