Plan to walk (2013)
Hi there! I'm excited to walk my first Camino – hopefully soon! :D I'm getting my gear together and have even collected five small smooth rocks on the seashore near where I live. I will definitely need advice and am happy to find this forum!!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hi!
I hope you find all the information you need here on the forum. If not, just ask! Good luck, a warm welcome, and buen camino!

Welcome.....and just be warned....someone is going to tell you to leave four of the rocks behind;-)

Got your rocks all ready! That is putting your priorities first.

I took one rock for each person on my prayer list and had their initials on each stone. The little bag of rocks weighed 2 lbs!
But what joy, taking the bag out and going through the rocks one by one remembering people at home who were dear to me.

Good luck as you prepare.
You Camino Journey will happen in it's own time.

Buen Camino,
David, Victoria, Canada.

Holy moly! You carried two pounds of rocks - now that's some love! :)

Hello, everyone ~

I'm breaking in my boots. So happy I found this site. I'll be on Camino 17th Sept thru 31st October. I look forward to meeting you, rain or shine. What a great idea about carrying rocks. Diane
