Hi there! I'm excited to walk my first Camino – hopefully soon! I'm getting my gear together and have even collected five small smooth rocks on the seashore near where I live. I will definitely need advice and am happy to find this forum!!

Got your rocks all ready! That is putting your priorities first.

I took one rock for each person on my prayer list and had their initials on each stone. The little bag of rocks weighed 2 lbs!
But what joy, taking the bag out and going through the rocks one by one remembering people at home who were dear to me.

I'm breaking in my boots. So happy I found this site. I'll be on Camino 17th Sept thru 31st October. I look forward to meeting you, rain or shine. What a great idea about carrying rocks. Diane
