Lucky you! I actually love the clip for the opposite reason.... I thought it was funny making it look so easy. .. my Caminos have never been anywhere near that light, but - as you can see - i’m working up to it for my upcoming one, which i’ll theme mindful ‘joy’ and ‘gratitude’.

His pack was probably full at the start of his Camino? In 2005, when there was not such a wealth of readily available advice on the net, I left from SJPP with about 8 kg - not including food or water, and got rid of half of that by the time I reached Pamplona. But that was nothing compared to the vast amount of people who were seemingly confidently hanging on to their 15 to 20 kg plus bags - Somewhere on the long road that picture definitely changed ...
