Ok, friends. Finally.
Here's my blog entry about the chicken in the backpack. Sorry it took so long. Hope you enjoy.

Just another of the wonders to be found when you journey on the Camino. This took place almost at the end of my SJPdP to SdC pilgrimage. Just goes to show you that the CF is full of wonders up until the very, very end.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
The link posted didn't work for me - but I used the link in the footer- what an intriguing thing - a chicken being carried on the camino!

There is an error in the link. Should be "wordpress", and not "workpress". If you make that change, the link will work. Loved reading your blog, Kathy!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
ARRGGHHH! Thanks, Lynn, I've made that mistake so many times - I think I've edited it and corrected it now.
Rufus, thanks for being persistent. I appreciate you liking my blog - I loved walking the CF!!

Can't seem to open it :(

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The fix is only in the text displayed here. If you open the url, then change workpress to wordpress in the address, it works.

Great blog entry, Kathy.

How much does a chicken weigh? Does this mean I will need a larger backpack? Should I take a sleeping bag, a silk liner, or a chicken? ;) I love that everyone does the Camino in their own way and has their own story. Thanks for your blog post.

Poultry in motion?! Hahaha, I laughed aloud! Thanks, Kathy. Clearly I will have to make the time to read your entire blog!
