Problems with "Camino Love" App

Would like to use "Camino Love" on my upcoming Camino, but am having my problems.
After I have selected the "Camino Frances", the map appears from SJPDP.
To get to a certain place, e.g. Burgos, I can only shimmy my way there along the displayed Camino.
What am I doing wrong?
How can I select a specific city?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Don't know about this Camino Love App. The App I use (Buen Camino) has an "I am on the Camino" button which shows where are you are physically located on the Camino. The button doesn't work unless you are on the Camino and it shows how many km to the next town, etc. up in the corner. Are you on the Camino yet? It might work better when it can identify your location in Burgos? My husband likes the Wise Pilgrim app and between the two of us we haven't gotten lost. Best wishes for your Camino.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I had downloaded it a few months ago. They said they were using CaminaNinja's data/files when it launched. I just took a look at it now and yeah...it seems crap. There doesn't seem to be a way to set your starting point. Buen Camino or Wise Pilgrim are much better apps.

It's annoying that they are sullying the Camino Ninja name by claiming association.

And now the actual Camino Ninja app is back for iPhone.

I downloaded the Camino Love app, but didn't find it useful or user friendly.

The two apps that I use, Buen Camino and Wise Pilgrim work great.

As @trecile says Buen Camino and Wise Pilgrim work great. They are different in usage so download them both and see which one feels better for you. They both have excellent information and off line maps. Whichever one you choose send them some pesos. Or keep them both.
If the Camino Love app is giving you problems, why bother with it. Delete it and download the ones we recommend. Coming from an illiterate tech user, these two apps are idiot proof.
@trecile has written that the Camino Ninja app is back. Lots of people loved it. I downloaded the app but was not comfortable using it. But that was just me. I am still going to download and check out the new version just for fun and who knows?

When I walked from Lisbon last year I had Wise Pilgrim, Buen Camino, and Camino Ninja on my phone. I think that the maps on Ninja were a little more up to date at the time because Andy (the app creator) had recently spent a lot of time on the Portuguese route, but the other apps have a lot more features, so I used them a lot more.

Did you walk the Espiritual Variante? If you did which app did you use? I know both Buen Camino and Wise Pilgrim have infornation about the variant. I just downloaded Ninja. They have the route but little information.

No, I didn't because I broke my arm before I got that far!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Wise Pilgrim has all you need although I would add in Pension Mar del Rosa in Villanova D’Arousa.
If you take the early morning boat then wear all the clothing you have if you are on the small boat. It’s pretty chilly when moving over water at speed.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
