Sanabres Spring 2018

Time of past OR future Camino
Primitivo (2017) completed June 2017
Hi everyone.
Planning to walk the Camino Sanabres hopefully in the first half of 2018. Can anyone give me any advice on the best time to do this from Zamora?
I am looking at two possibilities, either the last two weeks in April or the first two weeks in June. Of interest would be availability of accommodation and pilgrim numbers, and of course the weather! Reading about the VDLP I get the feeling that April may be muddy. I would like a non-crowded, but not empty, Camino.
I did the Primitivo in June last year and that worked well.
Thanks for any advice.
Ian

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

We were on the Sanabrese in May this year. The weather was good. We had some rain but the track was not too muddy. Would have been quite muddy a month earlier I think.

Thanks Sharon. How were the Albergues and pilgrim numbers? Looks like starting 25th May is an option.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
