Early start due to the forecasted 100F/38C weather.
Walked through several sunflower 🌻 fields and up and down the fully exposed Tuscan hilly landscape.
Went through several small villages, which appeared abandoned had it not been for laundered clothing drying in the sun from the window sills.
Finally made it to my destination and immediately started rehydration.
Tomorrow I will leave even earlier since the forecast is for 107F temperatures.

Bob, the hot air balloon in that picture is "very telling" to me. With 100°F heat, it looks to me like you had almost no breeze to give you some relief today as you walked. I hope the lodging choices you have reserved for your final 201kilometers all have air conditioning. I was in Rome last October; it was still rather warm even then.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Lovely photos… thanks… cooler than my hometown of Scottsdale AZ!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
