Hey. I plan to start my 3rd camino Frances from SJPP to Fisterra on February 21st (1st stage to Roncesvalles). I made a schedule from SJPP to Santiago in 26/27 days, with an option of 4 additional days to go to Fisterra then Muxia. I did last one in 2016 in 27 days and it was from mid November to december ... I am 58 years old with good fitness status . If somebody is interested to join pls answer the thread ....

Please be advised my friend that the Napoleon route is closed until April 1st at the earliest. It is a very dangerous route to attempt in February and the Navarre authorities take a very dim view of any Pilgrims that ignore the no walking rule.

Does the napolean route cover SJPDP to Roncesvalles only?

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

The Valcarlos alternate way from SJPP to Roncesvalles is the one taken in account in my schedule ( 2,3 km less). The Napoleon route is around 27,2 km as per my GPS calculation last time i did it . To Peadarmac : thanks for the warning

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
