Time of past OR future Camino
I'm going on my camino September 24 thru October 10, 2014.
Is it best to buy a ticket ahead of time or is it ok to just buy it at the time I travel?
I've been looking at the renfe site and I can find Chamartin station but can't find Leon
as my destination….
Thank you.
Stella

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Try Madrid(*) as origin and Leon as destination.

Apparently you can get discounts if you buy in advance.

Otherwise you can usually buy tickets just prior to travel. There have been some reports of lineups ... while the Spanish-language-only ticket machines go unused, but lineups are not the norm.

You can also buy tickets on the train ... but this is strictly a cash only transaction.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
