Camino Frances (2020)
I am walking this morning from San Juan de Ortega to Atapuerca on the Frances. Then want to take a taxi to Burgos from there. I have not done this yet but understand it’s easy to get a taxi from any albergue or bar. Please share any advice, also if anyone would like to ride share? Thanks, Shirley

I caught a taxi from Atapuerca to Burgos in 2014. The driver charged a set rate until we reached the edge of Burgos and the flicked the meter on to finish the journey. €35 was expensive but you are captive to their rates. We really had no other option. I’ve walked it twice since and the river route is very pleasant. Take a cab but I’m just giving you a heads-up on the cost. The drive was fine. Enjoy

Reading posts from yesterday and today plenty of people in panic mode regarding the number of pilgrims! I was wondering as you are close to Burgos how are you finding the pilgrim numbers?
Sorry can't help you with your taxi question! Cheers and Buen Camino
