Hello
I fly to Biarritz on 7 th September, arriving at 1705 . I have searched for a train from Bayonne to SJPDP but it appears the last train leaves around 1800 which I doubt I will clear customs and make it to the train station in time. I tried to book on the bourricot van transport but they are full! Is anyone else arriving on 7th? Can anyone advise me please?
Many thanks Tricia

Si yo fuera tu ... stay in Bayonne. Hotel Monte Carlo has good anecdotal (meaning I haven't stayed there) reviews and is within visual range of Gare Bayonne. Catch the 0745 arriving SJPdP at 0845 ... leaving enough time to go to the pilgrim office and then walk to Roncesvalles if that is your aim.

You could spend the night in Bayonne and leave early in the am. That is what I did last year. Bayonne is a neat little town.

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).

help. We have same issue. Arriving at airport and bouricott van is not available. Staying there is not an option. Are there taxis. We arrive at 18:50. We are at airport on our way to Paris.

Yes there are taxis at the airport. However you might take the airport bus to Bayonne, spend the night in Bayonne and take the TER local train 62 the next morning to Saint Jean Pied de Port.
