No bus listed in Rome2Rio.com. You could get a taxi to travel that 28 km or so. Or you might try hitchhiking along the LU 633 road. Ask at one of the shops about a local taxi. The bar/ resto/ casa rurale which is nearest the church is very pilgrim oriented and might be able to help.

Good luck and Buen camino!

Lynne, it looks like there's a Monbus (monbus.es) from Pedrafita and stopping in O Cebreiro and arriving in Triacastela at 07:33, but it stops in O Cebreiro at 06:49. But the sun will be up at 06:50 and it's a beautiful place to be in the morning.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Thankyou I will look into that.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Thankyou I will look into that.
Also, Lynne, as mspath said, there are taxis. Ana Rodriguez has a service out of Pedrafita that I used last year, and she's very conscientious and nice. +34 670 68 18 32. There are probably taxis originating closer to O Cebreiro, though.

I saw a bicycle-for-hire service advertised in O Cebreiro when I was there a few weeks ago - O C to Triacastela. €20 I think. Downhill all the way (more or less). Get your bag transferred by Jacotrans and ... whooosh!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
... Or you might try hitchhiking along the LU 633 road. ...

Not really the safest option @mspath

As far as I know there are only buses from Pedrafita do Ceberiro, which is down in the valley, off the Camino. So if going downhill is your problem, that wouldn't help. Try to find out if you can hitch a hike with one of the luggage transporters or perhaps there is a group with support vehicle staying tonight somewhere in O Cebreiro and they could help? Buen Camino, SY

Oops! I should have said that if you are not alone the two of you might try hitchiking. A lot of local trucks ply that road in the morning.

Mea culpa.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Bike rental was fun from there and it was almost all downhill.......I think I spent 5-7 Euros on this once.
