Buen Camino a todos, mi amigos.
Gracias.
Next Saturday we are walking 26km to an Argentinian restaurant so the kids can practise speaking Spanish (and eat homemade chorizo and empanadas)

What a lovely position to be in Kiwi family. All ready.'That definitely gets rid of a lot of stress related to late nights panicking over packing in the last week . You'll be able to have proper sleeps !
And have time for a nice walk before you board that flight.
Top marks to you.
Aldo nIce to read that it has been a family affair learning some of the language.

It's going to be sooo great!
Buen Camino

This is going to be a long two weeks! We are ready to leave. There is nothing left to do. We are ready to be gone!!
Helle Kiwi Family, we were going to meet up and it never happened, I am so sorry, time flew and I am currently in hospital with a kidney operation and leave early August to walk the Via Regia. Will you be back before then?
Have a wonderful time and perhaps we can get together and exchange our experiences, love, Gitti

Buen camino to you and your family!
Your post made me realize that the new season is really ready to start, exiting! And my next hike is also getting closer :):):)

This morning I am leaving Oz after 2 years, back home to Auckland for Easter then over to Sevilla to start my camino in early May. I too can't wait to live a different life for 6-7 weeks. Very excited. Fitness: OK, Spanish: debatable but have hands and Italian from years back. Buen camino todos.

How about we make it after your walk so we get to hear about that?! How long will you be? We could do pizzas (your place or ours - our oven is now made and functioning).....before Christmas.

I also hope you both survived the storm today safety. Good thing Wills, Kate and George made it to Auzzie before the storm hit.

We had a downpour in Sydney last night! But today was lovely.

Kiwi-family - I'm really looking forward to hearing your adventures as you go along - I'm sure many on the forum feel the same way. We'll all be thinking if you. Keep us armchair travellers posted!
