Does anyone know where the bus stop is in Viana for heading into Logrono? Google Earth shows bus stop symbols on both the N-111 and also on C. la Solana. Is that perhaps because two bus companies service the route(?) Does anyone know for certain?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Correct. Two companies cover this route. La Vianesa ( calle la Solana stop ) and La Estellesa.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Is that where? I remember waiting for it with a pilgrim who had injured his feet and whose travelling party was moving ahead of him on foot. I was moving solo and didn’t mind waiting. The bench is on a slope and I sat on it with my pack and completely turtled down the slope. We laughed and he forgot his feet for a few minutes.
So, pilgrim, beware: sit forward facing on the bench even though you won’t see the bus approaching (Unless they have re-oriented it).
Or take off your pack before you sit down…. Or don’t have the weight of your pack on the downward side…
LOL

Sorry, incorrect info - excuse me. Confusing Viana with Grado ;)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Going to Logroño, bus stop is on the N111, just outside city walls.
