Fourteen months after it came to public information project duplication of the road AS-19, in the section between the link Lloreda (Gijon) and Splice link (Carreño), the Demarcation of State Highways in Asturias reported Yesterday, in the "Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias," the public information package was approved. And it does so with only a few notes on the draft correction presented in November 2011. A project involving a path of just 5.6 kilometers, although its resolution has taken more than a year.

Among the requirements that the Ministry of Public Works has included to consider for the future drafting of the construction project duplication of that stretch of road, which has to be used to facilitate access to the large port Gijón, is the increase in width the shoulders, up to 1.5 meters, provided well over the pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. A sum that indication is also a change at the request of the Directorate General of Railways, to contemplate that certain structures may allow both a triple crossing electrified track, in the case of ADIF, as a double track electrified in If Feve line. It also foresees the need to define and mark out the site of the Muria overlooking incorporate the corrective action plans of the construction project.
