Hola amigos!

I am hoping I might be able to go to the camino for 8 or 9 days next week, I have read there may be alterations on the route because of highway works.

Has anyone been around this area lately? Is signposting reliable enough? Any other late news?

muchas gracias!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hola, Amancio!

Could only contribute on Zamora - Granja de Moreruela stretch as I've walked it this summer (continued on Sanabres). Nothing really special or unusuall as I could saw regarding markings, route etc.

Ultreia!

I passed through Benavente on the Sureste late last year and the area was a complete mess because of roadworks on the northern extension of the ruta de la Plata motorway. Detours etc must have added an hour to my day, although the signposting was mostly pretty good. It might not be quite so bad to the south, but it looked it.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
thanks a lot, amigos! in theory, roadworks for this motorway should be finished by now, I do not know what I will find if I eventually can make it, I will keep you posted. This stretch does not seem to be so popular, I will see what I find...

Hey Amancio, I look forward to your post regarding these stretches.
I'd like to finish the VDLP but not until all the construction is out of the way.

Hi Amancio,
I walked Zamora-Astorga in late May this year, and while there were some minor diversions, all were well signed, navigation was no problem.
Regards.
George

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
