Wow - does this bring back memories. Its the railway line crossing just east of Astorga. I had to wheel my bike up and down. Yes I know I probably could have ridden down - but had already given the brakes more than a little testing. It was a great view of the town and the mountains to the West.:)
 
Ah my old nemesis, the green monster. Not to be confused with the iconic wall at Fenway Park, but probably just as tall (37'2"). After a long day I was ready for that bed & meal, and only the green monster stood between me and my vino tinto.
After a long battle I won. Huzzah!
