I just wanted to thank everyone again for your thoughts and suggestions.
I was much relieved to receive an email this morning advising that my bag was ready for pick up - I've got it now and I'm flying out tomorrow morning.

Thank you for your suggestion - it says it was, as of last night (Saturday 1 am) being sent to the unit responsible for delivery so it sounds like it will likely be available for pick up on Monday

Everything (flights and hotels) is non-refundable so I'm looking at buying a new ticket out of SdC once the bag arrives to try to pick up my itinerary whenever I can.
Hello. I sent a bag via Correos for pick up in SdC but it apparently has not arrived yet and I was told to try Monday.
I'm supposed to leave tomorrow (Sunday) night. Other than to stay in SdC and wait for it to arrive, do I have any options?
I'm very anxious and gratefully welcome any suggestions.
