I just wanted to do the Camino.
My wife suggested that I do it (she hasn't done it but may one day, who knows?) because she felt it would be beneficial to me and she was right (yet again!!)
:)
Pack lightly, then halve it, then halve it again.
Have an open mind and embrace everything that the Camino gives you.
The rest you will work out for yourself!
Buen Camino!!
Funnily enough, the worst nights sleep I had while on the Camino was my first night ina dorm, which was completely empty apart from me!
I brought ear plugs and slept very well in shared dorms in Alburgues, so maybe give it a try and see how you go??
:)
I totally understand what you mean when you talk about 'was it all a dream?'
I felt exactly the same after my Sarria to Santiago trek and I cannot wait to do it again, this time I'm going to be on the Camino for waaaaay longer!
:)
Great stuff!
I am an Aussie Pilgrim based in Lennox Head, just near Byron Bay.
I would love to know more info about what events etc you are planning on having!!
:)
