Is your 6km/h average over the sort of ascents and descents found on the SJPDP to Roncesvalles routes? Not the same as flat walking in my experience.

I used the cicerone guide by Alison Raju when i did this in 2019 and I have recorded it as 24km to Ornans. I think it was mostly on the road and as I am quite happy with that I often look for a shorter route on google maps. As others have said...
