Nice Idea, but please tell me who is going to pay for all of this? I live on the Camino and have had to clean the three markers in our village every week as well as picking up all the litter and putting it in the bins we locals have provided.

All the Camino markers in our village of Brea have had their distance plaques ripped off and graffiti put on them. I have removed the graffiti and will now put the distance back on to help pilgrims.

We have now been told and shown quite a few times that the John Brierly Guide is showing the location of Pension The Way in Brea to be in Cruce de Empalme, and pilgrims are walking at least 2 km beyond where we are really located. We have contacted the guide to get them to rectify this mistake...
All the new marker stones have now been replaced in Galicia and this week the new distances have been added to eack stone as well as the yellow arrow and new Scallop Shell plaques. The distance is now shown as accurate to 3 decimal places and also been re calibrated. Our local marker used to be...
