    from St Jean to Roncesvalles - Napoleon Route

    Hi Currently in SJPDP, starting tomorrow. The Napoleon route is closed and likely to be closed for some time. It is very(!) cold here at the moment. So much so i just had to buy a pair of clothes and another fleece! It is very beautiful though!! Good luck!

    How can I avoid blisters!!!???

    Highly recommend 1000 mile socks. Have done A LOT of walking the last couple of months in the shoes I'm taking on my camino and no blisters! They are bit dearer than your average sock but well worth it as no blisters!

    Hi Falcon Agree about a day pack just hanging off a main pack but this one has 2 clips on the top and 4 in the sides of the back so its quite a process getting it off, and clipping it on!! Even slicing it off they would have to make 6 cuts to get it off! Also not intending to take a wallet...

    Thank you so much to everyone for the info! I have bought specific walkign shoes that are waterproof, and will definitely buy waterproof, breathable jacket and pants before I leave! I am really hoping for not too much rain! positive thoughts!
