    Camping the Jakobsweg Route

I'm hoping to hike this Geneva route in October to early November. I can't find a english guide? Perhaps there is not one. How difficult will it be to find lodging if I don't speak French?

New hiking boots vs old comfortable running sneakers?

    1. Less is more. The salesman misleads u. Ankle support isn't neccessary for most major hardcore trails much less the Camino. Trail runners or running shoes, will be ideal. 2. Waterproof isn't needed. Regular running shoes let your feet breathe and dry out quicker. Waterproof shoes cause your...

The story of your Stone at the Cruz de Ferro

Sorry for the loss and thank u for sharing. I lost my brother 3 years ago and I quit my job and thru hiked the Appalachian Trail in the US and spread his ashes atop MT Katahdin at the finish. I saved a bit of his ashes for the Camino . Do you all think it's appropriate to use a bit of ashes...

    Why the Camino scares me...

I liked your video (although I was surprised it was miley Cyrus. ) your story is nice to read . I'm not surprised to hear about your injury, as over striding and going too fast can cause leg injuries most commonly shin splints which are the most painful to deal with. Pack weight is a common...
