    Glad so many enjoyed this. I spent a few hours reading and tracing the route they took. I think they may have been on bicyles, which was of interest to me too. When I have more time I may try to create a map of their route just for fun and to see if the route is still viable.

    Lost my debit card (ATM). Then I had problems with Visa for cash withdraw as I needed my credit card PIN and had no idea what it was...Chase customer service insisted that I could do a cash withdraw at any Spanish bank with my passport...was not so. They all told me to use the ATM machine ;)...

    Plan to have your pack forwarded, and just carry a lightweight day pack, even if just for the first few days while you warm up to the experience. The pack forwarding service is CHEAP and what a difference it makes to be able to hike without the extra pounds and stress on your body.

    Hi, We each tried a different set of socks in our group, and the only one who had NO trouble was my daughter. These are the socks she used, ordered from Walmart in USA: Wrightsock 544 Double Layer TRL Quarter Socks. She hadn't even fully broken in her hiking shoes... Hope this helps, Doti

    Wait a minute...every body knows..."No Vino, No Camino". Enjoying a glass/bottle of local wine at the end of each day is part of the experience, its part of the pilgrim menu and...the early pilgrims certainly drank wine and ale.
