Tbh heating albergues isn’t cheap. Winter pilgrims sometimes find no heating in some albergues even in Dec / Jan.

I doubt any albergues have heating on in May tbh. But don’t forget, you’ll be sleeping in dorm rooms with other pilgrims - multiple people in one room generates heat…

Lots of free Wifi! Not to worry. We usually leave our home country “roaming” on for the first 24 hours, then use Wifi. We have not (on more than one occasion ) had good luck with Orange SIM from France. Either at the airport CDG or Orange...
