HMy friend @tarredon and her husband volunteered at the Pilgrim Office last year, and told me that they enjoyed the camaraderie and shared meals with the other volunteers at Albergue San Lazaro.

HHJPZ replied to the thread Accommodation for Volunteer.I was one of the last volunteers for 2023 and we stayed at the Albergue Peregrinos San Lazaro. There are two sections/buildings with one of them being for the volunteers at the Pilgrim’s Office.

HHJPZ replied to the thread Return To Canada after Camino.I was returning to Toronto but it’s a simple bus ride from Santiago to Porto where I enjoyed a few day being a tourist in this great city. I then flew home direct on Air Transat which likely flies direct to Montreal as well.
