cycling from Oloron to Somport
Hi my wife I cycled the Arles Route in 1997 and as I recall we had no problems cycling up the main road from Oloron to Somport. It was in fact surprisingly quiet. I say 'cycle' but we pushed most of the way as our bikes were so heavy due to us being washed out in our tent the previous evening...- jacobsweg

Thanks for all the info. Yes I did think that others would have asked the same thing - trouble is when you type in 'children' in the search engine it comes up with 100s of threads. I will have a closer look. Many thanks Dale- jacobsweg
