Much appreciated. I have a visit to the American embassy this month to hopefully get a visa for a 6 month stay to walk the Appalachian trail , meanwhile I am also planning my 3rd Camino.
I am hoping to do it myself this September, trying to work out the best place /way to fly back to the U.K.(Manchester) head back to Santiago or use a more local airport? Any tips anyone?
Really enjoying hearing about the AT experience's. I am planning a thru hike in 2022, would have done it next year but I can't get a visa until August. So instead am looking at doing my second Camino, possibly with a lightweight tent incase the alburgues are full. See you on either trail !
