I start tomorrow July 3rd from Lisbon and perplexed as where to stay the first few nights due to the lack of Albergues. There is an albergue 20km out in Alpriate but might want to walk longer... I know there are other options - open to suggestions from those who have walked from Lisbon - thanks...
I am leaving tomorrow after a few days here - from Paris via Bayonne to St Jean. My train leaves at 12:28 and I get into St Jean at. 730 pm. I booked 2 nights in St Jean and start May 5th. I suspect a taxi would be less hassle. I paid in cash since my card does not have a chip. Ticket cost 97...
I vote for poles - thought I would hate them but have grown to love them. They help with my posture for hiking and give my arms more exercise. - in SJPP in 2 days - John
