    Anyone else has taken T-Mobile phone?

    We are on the camino now with tmobile. So far so good. They say only 2g, and that seems to be enough for most email and facebook, but not videos.     I think we met them - baby about 5 months old and they are from Canada? If it was the family we met, the mom is hoping to write a book about traveling the camino with a baby - a lot of things took discovering that she wanted to share. They were really glad to be doing it.

    Is it just me???

    We were told on our roof tour that the North entrance (the one you come to first, on the left side of the catedral), is actually the original pilgrim's entrance (and the south door is the Pilgrim's exit). I'm assuming that is why the Botafumeiro swings that way (to fumigate us!). The West doors...

    walking in sandals only?

    You can buy trekking sandals in most biggish towns on the Camino, if you change your mind (especially in pilgrim stores). If you are sold on only sandals, you can mail your boots ahead to Santiago. (But I really needed the boots, not everyone does).

    What causes people to stop their caminos?

    Stretching... My husband and I are on the Camino, and we stretch whenever my feet and heels get a twitch (plantar fasciitis) or his back starts hurting. It looks weird, but it really helps. (One friend looked up and said she thought we had been zapped by aliens!)
