I think it boils down to weather and economics as to why long-distance pilgrimage routes are unlikely (although not impossible) in the UK. Perhaps shorter routes, such as to Canterbury could be developed and promoted.

Muxia has a bit more laid back atmosphere compared with Fisterra but there are still plenty of nice restaurants and places to explore. I also liked the small village Lires on the route from Fisterra.
Hi Mikel, yes I noticed that the locals tend to arrive much later for dinner. I was just referring to the earliest times that restaurants/bars typically open for evening meals.
